Online classes are a convenient and flexible way to learn a language from anywhere in the world, and in my experience I’ve found that two of the best platforms are Lingoda and Preply. This article describes my personal experience using both, and can help you decide which platform may be better for you depending on your situation, preferences, or language-learning goals.

I don’t use Duolingo. Instead, I have experimented with a handful of other methods– and the one that I believe is a superior alternative is a Lingoda Sprint.
